How to Count Cells in Excel
Counting cells in Excel is a fundamental task that can help you analyze your data and make informed decisions. Counting Total Cells

Counting Visible Cells

- In the “Editing” group, click on the “Find & Select” button.
- Select “Go To Special…” from the drop-down menu.
- In the “Go To Special” dialog box, select “Visible cells only” from the “Select” options.
- Click “OK” to select all visible cells in the range.
- The count of visible cells will be displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the Excel window.
Counting Filtered Cells
- Apply a filter to the data.
- Select any cell within the filtered data.
- Click on the “Status” bar at the bottom of the Excel window.
- The status bar will display the count of filtered cells in the range.
