How to Password Protect Your Xbox Purchases

If you’re like most gamers, you’ve probably spent a fair amount of money on Xbox games and other content. But what if your account were to be hacked or stolen? All of your purchases could be at risk.

That’s why it’s important to password protect your Xbox purchases. This way, even if someone else gains access to your account, they won’t be able to make any purchases without your permission.

How to Password Protect Your Xbox Purchases

Sign in to your Xbox account on the Xbox website.
Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen.
Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.
Click on the “Security” tab.
Under “Purchase and content usage,” click on “Change password.”
Enter your current password and then enter a new password twice.
Click on “Save.”

Your Xbox purchases are now password protected. If you ever forget your password, you can reset it by clicking on the “Forgot your password?” link on the sign-in page.
