Unveiling the Pit of Heresy: A Guided Adventure

The Pit of Heresy, a dungeon nestled within the Moon’s depths in Destiny 2, invites Guardians to unravel its secrets and confront formidable challenges. This dungeon demands precision, teamwork, and a deep understanding of its mechanics.

Phase 1: The Corrupted

**Corrupted Thrall:** Defeat waves of corrupted Thrall while damaging the Corrupted crystal in the arena’s center.

**Portal:** Step into the portal to encounter the first boss, Dul Incaru, the Corrupted.

Phase 2: Dul Incaru, the Corrupted

**Phasing:** Dul Incaru teleports between three orbs. Follow her and damage her by shattering the orbs.
**Echoes of Dul Incaru:** Avoid standing near Dul Incaru’s echoes, as they inflict heavy damage upon touch.
**Containment Field:** Stand in the containment field to absorb Dul Incaru’s essence. Once the field is charged, release it to damage her.

Phase 3: The Hive Ritual

**Obelisks:** Activate two obelisks to spawn a Hive Wizard. Kill the Wizard and collect its Key Fragment.
**Chalice:** Place the Key Fragment into the Chalice in the center of the room.
**Knights:** Defeat the Knights escorting the Taken Ogre. The Ogre will spawn Shadow Thrall, which must be killed quickly.

Phase 4: The Altar of Sorrows

**Knight Fight:** Engage in a challenging fight against multiple Knights and Taken enemies.
**Ascendant Knights:** Open the Ascendant Plane portal and defeat two Ascendant Knights.
**Xylok, the Unbound:** Triumph over the final boss, Xylok, the Unbound, in a high-stakes encounter.
