How to Turn On YouTube Comments

YouTube comments are a great way to interact with creators, share your thoughts, and connect with other viewers. However, there are times when you may want to turn off comments on your own videos or hide them from view. How to Turn On YouTube Comments

For your own videos:

Sign in to your YouTube account.
Click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
Select “YouTube Studio.”
From the left-hand menu, select “Videos.”
Find the video you want to edit and click on it.
Scroll down to the “Comments” section.
Click on the “Disable comments” toggle to turn comments back on.
Click “Save” to confirm your changes.

For other users’ videos:

Go to the video you want to watch.
Click on the “Comments” tab below the video player.
If comments are disabled for the video, you will see a message saying so.
There is no way to turn on comments for other users’ videos.

How to Disable or Hide YouTube Comments

To disable comments on your own videos:

Follow the same steps as above to access the “Comments” section.
Click on the “Disable comments” toggle to turn comments off.
Click “Save” to confirm your changes.

To hide comments on your own videos:

Follow the same steps as above to access the “Comments” section.
Click on the “Hold potentially inappropriate comments for review” toggle to turn it on.
